Kristy’s Story

In 2011, Kristy began telling stories for wine, food and travel clients based on her passion for the intersection of the industries – a common table at which people from across cultures, generations and lifestyles meet on common ground. Her authentic enthusiasm for the history, stories and efforts of the people, families and cultures behind every bottle of wine and found in every region around the world, are evident in her honest expressions and energetic commitment.

After a 20-year career as a small business entrepreneur in public relations and marketing for the professional services sector, Kristy combines her communications skills, observational and persuasive talents, professionalism and ability to work quickly, with her passion and expertise for wine, travel and culture. She is a published author with numerous digital publications including Winetraveler, Wine Tourist Magazine, the Finger Lakes Wine Country, and the American Wine School. She has also written for her own blog for more than eight years.

Kristy is WSET Level 3 certified and is pursuing her WSET Diploma through the American Wine School. She has explored wineries in more than 25 States and throughout Canada, and in 2016, she spent eight months living abroad with her husband and children exploring the wine regions of Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Romania and Austria. She has worked in the vineyards in the Finger Lakes wine region of New York, worked the crush pad at harvest in the Lake Michigan Shore AVA of Michigan, and has served as a brand ambassador for numerous wineries and wine associations.
